I recently earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. While my education focused primarily on sciences, my work and leadership experience focused on physical fitness and improving mental health. I believe in promoting and improving mental health through any type of physical activity, as long as it keeps the blood running and the endorphins pumping. One interesting fact about me is that I am an explorer. No mountain is too high, no water is too deep. My curiosity will always get the better of me, and has gotten me into trouble before. From consuming a ghost pepper, (I do not recommend!) to protesting G20 summits (stay way, and I mean way clear of tear gas). My preferred method of experiencing new cultures when travelling is to find the darkest, most out of the way restaurant and bar, dine on local cuisine, and discuss regional politics with the owner over a glass of wine or pint of beer (depends on the local).
