The Department of Philosophy, in collaboration with CVSP and the ​​Goethe Institute Beirut, is pleased to be hosting the first-ever international conference in Lebanon on the philosophy of Immanuel Kant. The conference will bring together eminent scholars from Europe, the United States, and the region to speak on one of four themes at AUB: Kant and the Philosophy of Action, Kant and the Philosophy of Science, Kant and the Philosophy of Religion, and the reception of Kant's philosophy in the Middle East.
