LAKEVIEW DENTAL - Key Persons

Dr. Aurora Degollado obtained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2003. She completed her Pediatric Dentistry training at the Unniversity of Connecticut and at Connecticut's Children's Medical Center in Hartford, CT. Prior to this, Dr. Aurora completed two years of Advance Education in UConn's General Dentistry program. She served as full time faculty in UCONN's General Dentistry department while providing dental care at School Based Health Centers (CHC around the state). Dr. Aurora is passionate in helping children overcome their dental fear. Her goal is making each child experience at the dental office a positive one while guiding parents through the right dental treatment for their child.

Dr. Carlos Degollado obtained his D.D.S. Degree in 1999. He graduated Magna Cum Laude as valedictorian of his class and received his degree in periodontics and implant dentistry in 2003. Dr. Degollado completed a two year residency program in advanced education in general dentistry at Uconn Health Center in 2011, and upon completion became a faculty in the general dentistry department where he currently serves as an assistant professor, with training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry as well as implant rehabilitation. Dr. Degollado is highly qualified to treat extensive and complex restorative cases. He is also a member of the American Dental Association.
