We happened to find a lot with a condemned home on it, in an area of town that we really liked. We made an offer on it without any expectations of it being accepted. To our surprise, our offer was accepted! This was about two weeks before our third little baby arrived. By the end of the year we had a new baby, a new lot, and a house to build...
