She studied French law for several years and has a Masters degree in European law (specialising in French property, employment, company and contract law). A fluent French speaker, Sue owned a property in the Languedoc for 9 years. Sue has been practising in French property law since 1997, first as French Law Executive at a firm of solicitors based in Ipswich and then Head of the French Law department at another firm of solicitors based in Ipswich, before starting France Legal. Sue also spent some time working in a notaire's office. Sue has an excellent command of technical legal French and a proven track record having successfully dealt with numerous French property transactions including purchases, sales, estate-planning, succession, company and divorce matters, since starting France Legal. Sue's approach is to look after her clients in a professional, competent and efficient manner throughout the process, providing the legal expertise and support needed so that the client has a smooth and trouble-free experience.
