TOUCH SOLICITORS - Key Persons

Colby Rhodes

Job Titles:
  • Legal Apprentice
I am excited and thrilled to be a part of this amazing team, I am just starting off on my journey in law. I have a lot to learn and a lot to give. I hope to be here for many years to come! I have had previous experiences with Dementia and Alzheimer's as well as Parkinson's Disease as I've watched family members go through their worst time of their lives and I would love to make it easier for them to handle by having some things in place with the help of Touch Solicitors LTD. I am a black belt in karate, I have been doing this for just over a decade ! I am now able to run classes and teach self defence to children and adults. I love seeing people progress with their confidence and watch them shine under pressure. If I have any free time I love going to the cinema or bowling. I also enjoy spending time with my family and going on family days out.

Diane Marsh

Job Titles:
  • Legal Secretary
I come from a varied career in public service, including Greater Manchester Police, the Law Society and the Department of Work & Pensions. Having worked in these varied challenging fields I feel makes me diverse in my approach with an eye for attention to detail. My approach to work has always been about getting things right, treating others with respect and providing the best customer experience that I can. As care-giver to my late parents I navigated the complexities of the health system, wills and probate. The recent purchase of my own property gave me an insight to the world of conveyancing. I would describe myself as the one to watch as I love out of the ordinary but also enjoy going to the theatre, cinema, and eating out. When I'm not out walking, spending time with the grandchildren I am attempting a spot of DIY!

Trusha Velji

Job Titles:
  • Director
  • Solicitor
  • Professional Member
Hi, I'm Trusha. I set up Touch Solicitors in August 2011 with the sole purpose of being able to work how I wanted. If I have helped make a difference in a person's life, for me my knowledge and training has been well utilised. With this principle in mind, I have set up seven different advice surgeries across Greater Manchester. The aim being to allow the vulnerable members of our community to have access to good advice without feeling committed. I have worked from home for nearly six years running my firm, a household and raising my two beautiful girls. I sit on the board of Trustees for Talbot House and present talks to various voluntary and private sector organisations. During this time, I have continued to better my skills and completed the internationally recognised qualification, STEP. The letters "TEP" representing Trust and Estate Practitioner now follow my name. I then completed my professional accreditation of Solicitors for the Elderly. As I work a lot with people with dementia, I completed my training and am now a Dementia Champion. I am passionate and dedicated to my career and the work I do. Trusha Velji LLB TEP Solicitor and Director is a full professional member of STEP and is accredited by the SFE
