We have partnered Anthem to bring this new program to members as part of…... CAPRI is a Joint Powers Authority ("JPA") formed pursuant to California Government Code 6500 et seq. JPAs were developed to meet the specific needs of the member entities, many of which were formed to provide insurance coverages, risk management safety and loss prevention services. This program of self-insurance is permitted under Government Code Sections 6500 and 990.8. CAPRI provides self-insurance and related services to members of California Association of Recreation and Park Districts (CARPD)... CAPRI provides a wide variety of services customized for Recreation and Park Districts. We take pride in our Membership Districts and consider them key strategic partners for our operation.
