Daniel Nothelfer

Daniel Nothelfer supports Danaher's Life Sciences businesses in mergers and acquisitions as Vice-president of Business Development. Prior to that he worked in Private Equity and with McKinsey & Company in strategy consulting. Daniel is an ESB Business School alumnus and graduated from the German-French double-degree programme in 2001. He also holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD. He lives with his family in Bad Homburg,Germany.

Dr. Elmore R. Alexander

Elmore Alexander (PhD, MA, University of Georgia; BA, Wake Forest University) is Dean Emeritus of the Louis Ricciardi College of Business at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA. Previously, he served as Dean of Business at Marist College, Philadelphia U and Johns Hopkins U. He has also had academic appointments at American U and the U of Memphis. His research interests include international business and organizational behavior. His research has appeared in Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Management, Management Communication Quarterly and Personnel Psychology. He has consulted for the Army Research Institute, FedEx, Hunt-Wesson, Kimberly-Clark and the U.S. Postal Service.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Taschner - Chairman

Andreas Taschner is the programme director for the degree programme "International Operations and Logistics Management". Taschner joined ESB Business School, Reutlingen University in 2011 as a professor of management accounting. During his 12 years in industry, Taschner held various positions in the telecommunications industry. Andreas Taschner studied Business Administration at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien and at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Taschner focuses his research and publication activities on management accounting problems in an international manufacturing environment with a special focus on supply chains and has published various textbooks and journal papers on management accounting topics. Andreas Taschner is a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals.

Prof. Dr. Ed Sweeney

Professor Ed Sweeney is Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and Head of the Operations Management and Logistics Group at Edinburgh Business School. He is an experienced researcher with over 150 publications in the form of books, book chapters, journal papers and articles to his name. He also sits on the editorial boards of several leading academic journals and is a past chair of the Logistics Research Network (LRN), the UK's leading network of scholars in the supply chain field. Ed has worked and lectured in over 60 countries and collaborated with many of the world's leading companies. His current work focusses on the development of sustainable and resilient global supply chain architectures.

Prof. Dr. Mohd Ridzuan Bin Darun

Mohd Ridzuan Darun is associate professor at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (Malaysia) and was the founding Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Management (FIM) from May 2014 until May 2019. He is an expert in management accounting, management control systems, Halal supply chain and working capital management. He has a great interest in Blockchain Technology and is currently leading various projects on the adoption of Blockchain technology in supply chain, mobile wallet and anti-forgery apps. Ridzuan was Chairman of Peer Review Committee of ABEST21 based in Japan (2017-2019). He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Finance (majoring in corporate finance and investment) from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, USA, Master of Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia, and a PhD in Accounting from Lincoln University, New Zealand. Under his leadership, FIM obtained an international accreditation from ABEST21. He also created a new FIM Governance and Integrity Centre (FGIC) and FIM Learning Factory. Furthermore, he established several new collaborations with related international and domestic institutions.

Wilhelm Hahn
