LEGACY SHADOW BOXES - Key Persons

Gene Tibbets

Gene was born and raised in Whittier, CA with a passion for music and woodworking. He ran a custom skateboard manufacturing business in Huntington Beach CA before relocating to the White Mountains of Arizona. Why he makes shadow boxes? Gene was inspired to create quality display cases for his customers' most prized autographed skateboard art. Similarly, Gene noted a lack of American-made record album display cases as wall art. With ingenuity and creativity, he is able to delight customers as well as retailers with custom-made superior quality boxes to showcase unlimited art forms. When did he start? Gene was inspired at a very early age by his father who was an engineer and avid woodworker hobbyist. Gene's first woodworking business began in the 70's when he was making skateboards for his friends and small shops. In his off time, Gene enjoys off-roading, playing guitar, and rocketeering. He loves all animals and has four cats: Jethro, Ellie Mae, Lotus, and Pache. Who all enjoy bird watching and working as alarm clocks.
