FortisBC is regulated by the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC)... We're growing our Renewable Natural Gas 2 (RNG) supply by partnering with suppliers who operate farms, landfills and wastewater treatment facilities. We see a future with more renewable and low-carbon gases flowing through our system in place of conventional natural gas. We plan to exceed the 15 per cent renewable and low-carbon gas target by 2030, as outlined in the CleanBC Roadmap. We're also investing in research to better understand how to safely blend hydrogen into our system to help us further decarbonize our gas system... FortisBC delivers renewable energy, natural gas and electricity to 135 BC communities and 58 First Nations communities across 150 Traditional Territories.
