I love gardening for my family and even more so since the Covid-19 lockdown. I plant more now so I don't have to go to the grocery store for fruits and vegetables. Being self-sufficient is the best thing I can do to be safe. I am married and a mother of 2 boys. Now that I am recently retired, I work in the garden everyday when it's not raining. I grow food for neighbors also. A lot of my fruits and veggies grow year round in California. So not to waste, I leave a pile of my pickings for my neighbors. This is a time of need and I am happy to give. I want to share my knowledge that I got from my grandfather and mother on growing. I was raised on a farm until I was 2 yrs old with my parents and grandparents. Every year we would return to my grandfather's house to visit, play with the farm animals and learn tips on gardening. They grew, harvested and sold vegetables to making ends meet back in the early 1900's. My mother was a chemist where she makes her own concoction for pest control. I..
