Denise Miller

Denise joined Medovate in July 2023 as Marketing Executive. She has over 20 years' experience in marketing, as well as a background in medical manufacturing related roles. Denise worked for a leading fluoropolymer manufacturer for several years, both in marketing and recruitment management roles. She has additional experience in sales and marketing roles, from her time working for a leading UK and International Transport Group. In her role within the Medovate team, Denise leads the marketing function to oversee and deliver to the marketing strategy, goals and objectives. She also supports sales, managing and assisting in the provision of product training to Medovate's network of distributors, and specialist sales partners, helping to make innovative new technologies developed by Medovate, available for the improvement of patient care worldwide.

Lorraine Turvill

Lorraine joined Medovate in March 2020 as Financial Controller. She has over 20 years accountancy experience. Lorraine trained and qualified with Deloitte, working with Entrepreneurial businesses and Professional Practices. Once moving into industry Lorraine specialised in early stage R&D businesses in the technology and medical devices sector supporting these businesses through funding rounds and IPOs. At Medovate Lorraine supports the Board and Managing Director by providing financial information for decision making and running the finance function to support the whole team.

Peter Cox

Job Titles:
  • Technical Manager
Peter is the Technical Manager at Medovate and has been with the company since April 2019. He has over 14 years of experience leading the development of a wide range of medical devices, including electro-mechanical devices, combination products and surgical devices. Peter has worked at a range of companies throughout his career, including Olympus, and Vectura - working closely with engineering teams in the UK, USA, Japan and China. At Medovate, Peter is responsible for leading the development of our medical devices, coordinating design and manufacturing teams to successfully deliver our products to the market. Peter holds an BA(Hons) Industrial Design and Technology degree from Loughborough University and an MSc in Design Engineering from Middlesex University.

Tremayne Rutherford - VP of Sales

Tremayne has over 25 years' experience working in roles in pharmaceutical and healthcare specialising in business and service development in the fields of anaesthesia, surgery and other therapy areas. During his career Tremayne has worked across the medtech industry for companies such as Organon, Schering Plough and Innovex (Pfizer) in roles including Account Manager, Coach and Field Trainer. In his previous role he was MSD Service Development Manager for Anaesthesia and Surgery where he was heavily involved in the alignment of brand key account plans to NHS priorities of improving quality & outcomes, improving patient safety, and driving efficiencies within the enhanced recovery programmes. In his role of Head of Sales at Medovate Tremayne will be able to apply his 15 years experience working in the fields of anaesthesia and surgery to support and drive in particular the continued global roll out and adoption of the SAFIRA® system for regional anaesthesia.
