Mattersey Rifle & Pistol Club was formed in 1979 from a few breakaway shooters from Worksop Rifle Club, the driving force and Secretary was Gordon Hanstock who sadly died in 1994... Currently, we continue to have some excellent shooters, of multiple disciplines, who compete at national and international competitions with good levels of success... We are a busy, friendly club that is affiliated to the BASC and offer a range of shooting disciplines, with 10 ranges we have both junior and adult members and welcome both experienced and novice shooters. We are a privately owned club that is run by its members, the club is run by elected officers and the committee manages the club's affairs and financial commitments.
