Dr. Angela Gavin Smith

Dr. Angela Gavin Smith is an Alexander City native. She was graduated from Benjamin Russell High School in 1987 and then went on to Auburn University. She is a 1994 graduate from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to Alexander City and purchased the Alexander City Veterinary Clinic in 1998. She is married to Kevin Smith, a football coach at Benjamin Russell High School. They have two children and enjoy spending time with family, playing with their dogs and cats, any activity on Lake Martin, supporting Wildcat football, and coaching dance and baton.

Dr. Lyndsey Jackson Anderson

Dr. Lyndsey Jackson Anderson grew up in the Auburn/Alexander City area and was graduated from Horseshoe Bend High School in 2003. She attended Auburn University for both her undergraduate and doctorate degrees. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she worked at the Alexander City Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary assistant. She received her doctorate from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Dr. Anderson practiced veterinary medicine in Georgia for one year before returning to the area in 2012. She resides with her husband, Josh Anderson; her cat; fish; dog; and horses near Auburn and loves Auburn Football. War Eagle!

Gordon Setters

Gordon Setters are susceptible to bacterial and viral infections - the same ones that all dogs can get - such as parvo, rabies, and distemper. Many of these infections are preventable through vaccination, which we will recommend based on the diseases we see in our area, her age, and other factors.

Haley Pearson

Haley Pearson grew up in Dadeville and is a 2000 Graduate of Dadeville High School. She worked for the Alex City Vet Clinic after high school then moved to Johnson City, Tennessee with her husband, Jason Pearson, where she worked in another small animal hospital. She returned to the Alex City Vet Clinic in 2015. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, dogs, and other family and friends. She loves being outdoors, watching baseball and Alabama Football.

Laura Fagan

Laura Fagan grew up as military dependent. She lived in Alexander City from 1991-1998 and returned to the area with her husband in 2008. She was graduated from George C. Marshall High School in Ankara, Turkey and holds a Bachelor Degree in English from Auburn University Montgomery. Laura has been an employee of the clinic since 2011 and is currently the Office Manager. She and her husband, Matthew Fagan, have 2 children and a plethora of animals together. As a family, they enjoy caring for their cows, donkeys, goats, chickens, cats, and dogs; growing food on the farm; and any outdoor and water activities.

Letitia Dean

Letitia Dean, L.V.T grew up in Russellville, Kentucky and attended college at Murray State University where she received her Bachelor Degree of Science in Veterinary Technology. She is married to Alexander City native, Gaius Dean, and together they have 2 children and a dog. Letitia has been a licensed veterinary technician in Alabama for more than a decade and a valued member of the Alex City Vet Clinic team since 2003. She enjoys reading, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
