ALQatari Fruits was established in 1943. It is a Bahraini private owned company specialized in import, re-export and wholesale of fresh fruit and vegetables. Over 69 years ago ALQatari Fruits established itself as a major fresh fruits and vegetables supplier to the retail sector in most of the GCC countries. Currently, ALQatari Fruits W.L.L clients include some of Bahrain's biggest supermarkets as well as companies in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah, Dammam, Riyadh) Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and other countries in the Middle East. Throughout this period Al Qatari Fruits have established a reputation of dealing in large volumes of high quality fresh product for the Kingdom of Bahrain and Gulf markets. In 1997 ALQatari Fruits was operating from its sister company Al Mashriq Fresh Fruit. In 2003, Al Mashriq Fresh Fruit was sold, but for the next 5 years Al-Mashriq Fresh Fruit has remained under the management of ALQatari Fruits.
