The origin of ARY group of companies stems from pre-partition times of the subcontinent where ARY family was in the business of refinery based in Surat (in the state of Gujarat, now in India). After partition, their family moved to Pakistan. ARY Refinery was the only registered refinery in Pakistan that minted hallmarked gold bars with a brand of two horses. These gold bars were renowned for their purity in the subcontinent and were exported to the province of Punjab (in Pakistan) and East Pakistan (now Bangladesh)... Complying to its philosophy of innovation and pioneering, ARY as an organization strives to set trends in the region and beyond. ARY were pioneers in launching Rainbow Hearts, which was the first-ever brand in 24k gold in the region. Due to its visionary risk taking ability, ARY has always diversified into related and unrelated industries to take advantage of business opportunities... In 1969 Mr. Haji Abdul Razzak moved to Dubai and ARY started its operations in 1970...
