Patrick Sullivan

Patrick Sullivan was born and raised in Santa Rosa. After attending and graduating UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular Cell Biology, he worked for several years in the Bio-Tech industry before becoming interested in exploring the wine industry. Not just the diverse flavors of wine, but the craft, art and science behind making them. As a Sonoma County Native, the scenic beauty of the North Bay wine country, in addition to the seasonal cycles of farming grapes was a big part of Mr. Sullivan's history, a history that called him back home. Mr. Sullivan received his Masters Degree in Enology from CSU Fresno. Mr. Sullivan sought out leading wineries with excellent reputations in order to develop his craft. He worked his way through the cellar at Peter Michael Winery, then the lab at Rudd Winery. Eventually, Mr. Sullivan became the assistant winemaker, then winemaker at Lewis Cellars. This experience led him to accept a job as associate winemaker for Paul Hobbs. He was eventually recruited back and returned to Rudd Winery as head winemaker, where he spent six years further developing their wine program.
