Lady Joicey

Lady Joicey was the reserve rider for the Great Britain team at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, and was keen to develop training for people in the borders and North Northumberland. She recruited trainers from Sweden and Austria and organised clinics at Etal Manor. Today the riding club committee endeavour to follow in the footsteps of Lady Joicey we recruit top international riders and trainers who dedicate their time to the riding club members, the club runs courses to suit all abilities of equestrianism, and spectators are very welcome. The Border Riding Club is very proud of its history and track record. Where it leads others follow.
