DANESHILL SAILING CLUB

If you have ever thought of trying sailing but never had the opportunity… now is the time to give it a go… At Daneshill Sailing Club we have the boats, qualified Instructors, and the water to help you try it out! For a free taster session come down next Sunday between 11:00 and 16:00 and introduce yourself to the team. Bring a change of clothes and a towel just in case… and we will do the rest... Sailing activities commenced at Daneshill in 1973. This Club was formed in 1988 to provide for the continuation and development of outdoor activities for schools in the Retford area. Sailing now takes place on a lake which was excavated as part of the amenities development of the nature reserve on Daneshill Road near Torworth... We are located 4 miles north of Retford, just off the A638 at Torworth. Follow the signs for the Daneshill Nature Reserve and park in the car park, following the vehicle path through the green gate and find us at the lakeside.
