In addition to using a selection of commercial FEA and Engineering software, Weaver Engineering develops and has access to specialty FEA calculation tools to assist in our efforts toward behavior prediction. We have developed custom tools for Ansys, Geostar (Cosmos/M), Femap, STAR-CCM+ and STAR-CD. Among these is our commercially sold FEWeld software for weld stress, size and fatigue damage calculations... Weaver Engineering works in the field of Behavior Prediction of Mechanical Systems. While weldment analysis and design constitutes a majority of our work, as a consulting service, we have performed a wide variety of finite element analysis, mechanical analysis, forensic studies, reporting and testimony, FEA Model checking, training and thermodynamic simulations since 1992.
