FAU EQUESTRIAN

The Equestrian Club at Florida Atlantic University was founded in 2009 with four members. Today, the club is proudly considered a "top tier Owl" in the Sports and Recreation department of FAU with over 30 dedicated members that all share the love of horses as competitive and non-competitive equestrians. Members do not need any prior horse experience, or even a horse, to be in the club... The FAU Equestrian Club is a meeting point for those interested in Equine Activities on the FAU campus. The club also includes a show team comprised of participating competitive members that compete within the IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association). Members of the club are not required to attend events or fundraising. We try to orient some things for "non" club members, but because our membership is 95% show team members it is hard to orchestrate these events.
