GK Medical Management is a company focused exclusively on outpatient imaging centers. While GK is focused on the Chicagoland area, currently operating 7 imaging facilities in Illinois, it also extends services as far as Michigan and Texas. The company employs over 100 staff in a range of positions, including: technologists, front desk, office managers, IT, accounting, billing, credentialing, and marketing... The first product of this observation was Hawthorne Medical Imaging, an outpatient imaging center which was of the Sinai Health System, in which the assertion was that high quality and profitable outpatient imaging could be delivered in its under-served demographic area without compromising quality and service. It became rapidly clear that there were many roles to play to execute on delivery of such services.
