HARLEQUIN YOUTH

Harlequin Youth Club was established by Ossie Rusher in 1967. Dr. Danie Craven attempted the same concept in the Cape with limited success. Harlequin Youth was the first in South Africa and was known as a clinic, in the beginning, making it the oldest Youth Club in South Africa and still growing every year!... Harlequin (Quins) is still the biggest and most successful Youth Rugby Club in South Africa. We are also the First Youth Club in South Africa to tour England in the 1980s and participate in the Rugby World Youth Tournament in France. Subsequently, Harlequin Youth Rugby Club toured several other countries and has also been host to many international incoming tours, from various global destinations in recent years. Quins is setting the trend and is home to a passionate boys and girls rugby-playing youth... Harlequin Rugby Club was founded in 1903.
