Hertford Bowls Club is an old established lawn bowls club in the centre of the County Town of Hertford... The club provides weekend friendly games throughout the season for all to enjoy, with plenty of club and outside competitions should you wish to enter. In other words, Hertford Bowls Club provides as many or as few bowls opportunities as you may wish to enjoy during the summer season from May to September... Whilst our history is very important, it is the future that we are most concerned with. We still enjoy the camaraderie of a small club, with a membership below 50 in most years. We offer regular weekend friendly games and midweek competitive matches for both women and men. We enter local leagues to provide some competitive matches throughout the season. Members also participate in District, County and National competitions.
