HPL DEVELOPMENT - Key Persons
Paul Yu has over twenty-five years of experience in real estate construction and has also spent the last fifteen years in real estate development. Mr. Yu began his career at the young age of 19 as a carpenter and field superintendent. In 1989, only seven years later, he started the construction company SPE Construction, Inc. With his untiring leadership, and extensive experience in custom home construction, subdivision planning, and commercial building construction, SPE has seen tremendous growth and success. Mr. Yu and his experienced team are applying their expertise in constructing multi-million dollar luxury homes as well as commercial and retail real estates.
His company HPL Development, LLC whose services range from feasibility studies and entitlement, to full project development, leads Mr. Yu's current development projects. Mr. Yu is the company's founder and president and is currently leading the company in two development projects.
Besides his extensive experience in construction and real estate development, Mr. Yu also is the founder and operator of a successful retail business chain in Beijing, China. The business has enjoyed tremendous growth in the past two years and has added a manufacturing arm to supplement its operations. Mr. Yu makes frequent visits to China and has established there a network of business partners, friends, and government officials.
Mr. Yu's experiences in real estate construction, development, and foreign business make him the ideal leader for his companies SPE Construction and HPL Development. His expertise, guidance, leadership, and the abilities of the teams he put together and leads all help to ensure the success of any construction and development projects that he or his companies are involved with.
Paul Yu studied at On Fai University, On Fai, China and majored in Electrical Engineering. He obtained his California General Contractor's license in 1989.
