The Centre for Invasive Species Solutions (CISS) is a not-for-profit, member-based organisation formed to address the impact of invasive plants and animals across Australia... The Centre for Invasive Species Solutions is governed by an independent skills-based board and managed by a core team of staff based in our head office. We have a number of world class research leaders who lead our innovation portfolio... We began in 2005 as a Cooperative Research Centre and have since expanded to address invasive weeds, diseases and pest animals. CISS also supports community action on invasive species through a network of national coordinators.
