J & D Good Taste Restaurant is a neighborhood destination inspired by the sights and cuisine of the Jamaican and Haitian mainlands. While we are a new establishment our Chef and kitchen staff have been preparing Caribbean delicacies and serving our communities for a number of years... J & D Good Taste Restaurant is committed to serving the best in Jamaican and Haitian cuisine. We're a family-owned operation located in the heart of the Caribbean community of Uniondale, New York. At J & D you will find jerk chicken, rice and peas, oxtail, curry goat, shrimp creole, black rice, poule en sauce (stew chicken), griot (fried pork) and, other Jamaican and Haitian delicacies... We aim to delight our customers with the vibrant flavors and colors of Jamaica and Haiti thus we always see for fresh and high quality produce in preparing our menu. We believe fresh food created with passion, and using real ingredients, simply tastes better.
