LOWER MERION ICE HOCKEY CLUB

The Lower Merion Ice Hockey Club is open to any resident of Lower Merion Township or Narberth Borough and consists of teams at the Mite, Elementary, Middle School and High School Levels. Registration for teams typically opens in January and runs through August depending on how quickly rosters fill up... The Lower Merion Ice Hockey Club was established in 1971. The club's first uniforms were donated by the legendary and iconic NHL hall of famer, Ed Snider, the late founder of the Philadelphia Flyers. Two of Mr. Snider's sons, Craig and Jay Snider, played on that first team. The hockey club has continued to grow and flourish since then into teams ranging from mite all the way through girls and boys high school teams with multiple trips to the Flyers Cup and multiple league championships for our teams... Our Mites team is typically comprised of girls' and boys' grades K-2 (or beginners ages 8 and under) while our Elementary teams are generally open to girls and boys in grades 2-4..
