The MLSP is designed to promote research and development and to spur the growth of the life sciences sector in Malta, building on the base that the country developed in the pharmaceutical industry during the last decade... Malta Life Sciences Park (MLSP) provides an international class facility for life sciences and information technology development. There are 13,500 m of laboratories, offices, seminar room, meeting rooms and a number of shared facilities. MLSP is the national focal point to promote research and development and to spur the growth of Malta's life science and biotechnology industry. These sectors are viewed as a natural development following the growth that Malta experienced in pharmaceutical industry during the last decade.
