Maverick Malt House is located in Wildorado, Texas, just 20 miles west of Amarillo. We're farmers, we're maltsters, but more importantly, we're family. We understand the hard work you put into your products, because we put the same amount of dedication into producing our malt... We produce quality malt for brewers and distillers, grown right here in Texas. We share your dedication to crafting the finest beer and spirits for your discerning customers. When your products are made from natural, locally grown malt, that's quality they can taste... We take our time to produce our distiller's base malt. Cool temperatures, extended germination time and kilning produce and preserve the enzymes needed for mash conversion. Our Texas grown barley has the right amount of protein for healthy yeast growth and development.
