NORTH HERTFORDSHIRE MUSEUM

North Hertfordshire Museum is next door to the refurbished Town Hall in Brand Street, Hitchin. We display collections from the old Letchworth and Hitchin museums and many items from around the District that have never before been on public display... North Hertfordshire Museum aims to increase the understanding and enjoyment of the culture, heritage and environment of North Hertfordshire, using the museum collections to tell the stories of the people who have lived and worked here. Our vision is to create a welcoming museum that plays an active role in the life of the District... We have recently produced a draft Museum Strategy, which sets out our aims for North Herts Museum from 2022 until 2026. It has four main aims, relating to our audiences, our finances, our collections, and our organisation.
