Did you know? Planio is proudly based on Redmine, an awesome online project management software developed following the open source philosophy. Planio specialises in hosted Redmine, Subversion & Git, and delivers it as a turn key service with extra features that's easy to use for everybody... Perhaps the reason is that Planio was actually developed just for us, for our own business needs at LAUNCH, our Web design agency. We initially searched for a suitable project management tool that fulfilled our criteria, but didn't have any luck. We wanted an app that provided flexibility and could facilitate project success, even if teams were distributed around the world... Planio supports agile frameworks such as Scrum. You can plan sprints, and track progress on the Agile Kanban-style board. But you can also use more traditional project management techniques such as milestones or the Gantt chart. That's handy when you don't manage everything with agile techniques.
