Beth Dea comes to Rise from Futurpreneur Canada, where she was the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, working directly with the CEO. Beth joined Futurpreneur Canada in June 2010 as the Director of Programs, where she was responsible for the strategic direction of Futurpreneur's mentoring and financing programs. In her partnerships role, Beth cultivated high-impact relationships with corporate, government, academic and non-profit organizations.
Prior to that, she was the Executive Director of a Toronto-based children's charity, the Philpott Children's Fund, for 5 years and worked at the Schulich School of Business' Nonprofit Management Program. Beth holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. She sits on the Advisory Committees of Venture for Canada and Access Employment Services and has held multiple board positions.

Sandra Rotman is a leader in many community endeavours. She was honoured with the Order of Ontario in 2006, and was awarded an Honorary LLD from the University of Toronto in 2009. The Association of Fundraising Professionals presented Sandra and Joseph Rotman with the 2009 Outstanding Philanthropists Award. Sandra obtained her degrees from Toronto Teachers College, Columbia University and the University of Toronto. Among her major initiatives is the establishment of the Program in Neuropsychiatry at the Baycrest Center for Geriatric Care, the Sandra Rotman Chair in Social work at the University of Toronto and the Sandra Rotman Chair in Health Sector Strategy at The University of Toronto and The University Health Network. Sandra is an active member of the advisory Board to Sotheby's Canada International and of the Board of Directors at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
