ROOS TREE - Key Persons
Nursery founder, Tim Roos, is a third generation California almond and walnut grower, who has worked every aspect of the nut industry-from orchard development to harvest. His father, Ralph, custom planted almonds and walnuts for local farmers, and passed on to Tim unparalleled knowledge of soil types, rootstock, ground preparation and field layouts. Growing up in a farming family taught Tim the value of honest, hard work in the field. The shovel in the Roos Tree insignia is a nod to the hard work of the farmer, and the tried and true methods we value today.
Tim Roos is a graduate of Fresno State University, and lives in Modesto with his wife Suzy, and their two children.
