A. Scott Berg is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of five bestselling biographies. They include: Max Perkins: Editor of Genius, which won the National Book Award; Goldwyn, for which he received a Guggenheim Fellowship; Lindbergh, which won the 1999 Pulitzer Prize for Biography; Kate Remembered, a biographical memoir of his friendship with Katharine Hepburn; and, most recently, a biography of America's 28th President, Wilson. He has occasionally worked on both feature and documentary films and has written for several magazines-Vanity Fair, Architectural Digest, and Smithsonian among them. A Charter Trustee of Princeton University, he lives in Los Angeles, CA.

Ellsworth Brown is the former Director of the Wisconsin Historical Society, retiring from this position in March 2018. He is also the former President and CEO, and trustee of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and also of Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, which includes the Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Carnegie Science Center, and the Andy Warhol Museum. Prior to this, he was director of the Chicago Historical Society. Dr. Brown was president of the American Association of Museums from 1990 to 1992, and has chaired the Association's nominating committee and its governance task force. He was a Museum Assessment Program visitor and served on visiting committees for the AAM Accreditation Commission. He resides in Madison, WI. Dr. Brown served on the National Museum of American History Blue Ribbon Commission, on the Smithsonian Council, and as a Board Member of the National Museum of the American Indian.

Jeff Garrett is the Founder and Owner of Mid-American Rare Coin Galleries, and Co-owner of Sarasota Rare Coin Galleries. He is a Special Projects Consultant with the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. Mr. Garrett has authored many numismatic books, including Encyclopedia of U.S. Gold Coins 1795-1933: Circulating, Proof, Commemorative, and Pattern Issues; 100 Greatest U.S. Coins, winner of the Best Book Award; and United States Coinage: A Study By Type. He is also the price editor for The Official Redbook: A Guide Book of United States Coins. Mr. Garrett is a consultant to the Smithsonian Institution's National Numismatic Collection. He is a member of the Professional Numismatic Guild and previously served as President, Vice President and Treasurer of the organization. In 2009 Mr. Garrett first ran successfully for a seat on the Board of Governors for the American Numismatic Association and is now Past President of the organization. Mr. Garrett resides in Lexington, KY with his wife Mary Lynn.

Shirley Ann Jackson of New York, is President of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She has held senior leadership positions in government, industry, research, and academe. Her research and policy focus includes energy security and the national capacity for innovation. A theoretical physicist, she was Chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Dr. Jackson serves on the Smithsonian Institution Board of Regents. She also serves on the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) and is Co-Chair of PCAST's President's Innovation and Technology Advisory Committee. She is a member of the International Security Advisory Board to the U.S. Department of State. Dr. Jackson is an International Fellow of the British Royal Academy of Engineering; a Member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering and the American Philosophical Society; and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Physical Society, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), where she previously served as AAAS President and Chairman of its Board of Directors. She is a member of the Board of the Council on Foreign Relations and The Brookings Institution. She is Vice Chair of the Council on Competitiveness and co-chaired its Energy Security, Innovation and Sustainability initiative. She also is a member of the boards of directors of several global companies.
