SOMNOLOGY - Key Persons
Brian has utilized his deep interest in international business and sports law to assist Somnology. He is engaged as Somnology's Chief Operating Officer with legal responsibilities. His interest has been instrumental in the development of Somnology's Performance Enhancement division. At Santa Clara University, Brian gained international and entertainment experience while serving as the Vice President of Santa Clara's Sports & Entertainment Law Organization and the Asian Pacific American Student Law Organization. Internationally, Brian has spent summers living and working in Tokyo for a law firm that represented professional athletes playing in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball Organization and in Beijing. He also lived and studied at China's prestigious National University in Beijing where Brian studied Mandarin. Prior to law school Brian worked at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati ("WSGR") in IP for the Patent Prosecution Team and gained valuable experience with patents and trademarks. Brian graduated with a Minor in Sports Management, BA in Philosophy, and a JD from Santa Clara University.

Chelsie grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. She received a Bachelor's degree in Professional Writing from Baylor University and works as a technical writer and graphic designer at Somnology. Driven by a passion for making websites accessible and user-friendly, she is currently pursuing a Master's degree in User Experience Design. In her free time, Chelsie enjoys rock climbing, Olympic weightlifting, and immersing herself in true crime podcasts.

Dr. Lim the is the Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of Somnology, Inc. She is a board-certified sleep specialist with her own busy private practice in Redwood City, CA. She is the Medical Director of Redwood Pulmonary Medical Associates and Redwood Sleep Center, Inc. She is the clinical architect of the internet-based sleep center management software now hosted in many sleep labs across the globe, called Sleep Workflow. She attended Ohio State University College of Medicine, completed her internship and residency at Boston City Hospital/Boston University, and conducted her fellowship training at Johns Hopkins Hospitals and the University of California, San Francisco. Realizing the magnitude of sleep problems worldwide, she created the first version of MobileSleepDoc Pro mobile app in 2012 as a tool to help not only her own patients, but anyone with a smartphone who has trouble sleeping. A brand new version of the app was released in 2014, followed by the founding of Somnology, Inc. in 2015.
Julius grew up in southern Germany. He received a BSc in Computer Science and English from the University of Freiburg and a MSc in Computer Science Engineering from Santa Clara University. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, visual computing and UX and is an expert in developing modern applications for iOS. In his free time, Julius likes to build his crazy ideas (whatever engineering that might require) and produce his own music.
Lee is a recognized technology and business leader for enterprises and ventures commercializing innovative new web services, mobile apps, and streaming media workflows emphasizing digital health, education, cause, and sports. Lee is an expert in the architecture and deployment of massively scalable SaaS/PaaS cloud architectures, data acquisition and storage models, streaming media workflows, and the rapidly evolving application of cloud-based AI services. Lee's expertise also includes operations, business, funding and market strategy to launch new ventures. Lee has held leadership roles at large enterprises such as Stanford Research Institute, Siemens Medical and Pixar-Phillips Medical. Lee was the CTO founder of Wyndstorm - a company that pioneered the integration of social media with web video streaming of live events. Lee has also served in CTO/COO roles, and is a founder and advisory board member, of several active ventures in digital health and wellness, services to empower veterans, and a social streaming media network integrating NIL services for youth and college athletes. Lee holds an MS in Computer Science and an MA in Biology. Lee's interests include exploring the California coast from both an onshore and in-water experience.
Orion Poon is the Finance Director of Somnology, Inc. Orion leads finance functions including finance and accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, and strategic research on business and healthcare industry. Prior to joining Somnology, he held a variety of investment research and portfolio management roles.
Orion earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and Master of Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University. He enjoys sports, hiking and spending time with family.

Oti, originally from the historic city of Cáceres, received her double Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Marketing from ESIC Business & Marketing School. She further honed her skills with a Master's in Advertising and Branded Media from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Currently, Oti excels in her role as a Marketing Associate and Graphic Designer at Somnology. Outside of her professional life, Oti is passionate about exploring new places, expressing her unique style through fashion, and spending time with her friends' pets.
Hailing from Milwaukee, WI, Randol pursued Computational Bioengineering at Santa Clara University for his Bachelor's and Master's degrees. He has dedicated his career to studying and applying Machine Learning to healthcare situations to increase their efficacy, efficiency, and affordability. Outside of his professional pursuits, Randol enjoys engaging in outdoor activities like rock climbing, hiking, and biking, as well as indoor hobbies such as playing the piano and guitar.
For Viv, animation was a hobby that started at the young age of five, making stop-motion Lego short films nonstop. Over the years, this hobby grew into a career after learning from leading industry professionals at the Academy of Art University and The Animation Collaborative in the San Francisco Bay Area, creating award-winning computer animated shorts in the process. While at Encyclopedia Pictura in San Francisco, Viv worked on innovative vibrant and whimsical music video projects. His past experiences also include robotic animation and design work for Postmates, creating detailed geographic animations for several documentaries, and developing promotional presentation materials for many biotech companies. He also had the opportunity to pass along his artistic learnings by training at DreamWorks, and teaching at a local high school. As Somnology's Creative Director, Viv now brings his diverse and refined art and animation background to the Somnology team by leading video, web, and social media projects.
