PMC

Interested in climbing, hill walking and great outdoor adventures, then have a look at the PMC. We regularly climb and hike the mountains, crags, and fells across the UK, including The Lakes, Wales, and Scotland, and often go even further, to the various higher beauty spots around the world. We love to walk and scramble, and especially to climb, by any means, often trad climbing but we sport climb, boulder, and even ice climb when we can. In winter months, if we can't get out, then we climb indoors, usually at Preston's West View Leisure Centre. On summer evenings we climb everything we can nearby... We also have an active walking group that is mainly made up of the retired section of the club and those who can take a day off. The Mid-Week Walking Group meets on the third Thursday of the month for lower-level walks in and around Lancashire, South Cumbria, and West Yorkshire and always starts with a café rendezvous.
