Charlie O'Hara is one of 15 children born into a family with strong ties to thoroughbred racing. Charlie's father, Philip O'Hara Sr., who owned horses in the 70's and began with a stakes winning top Maryland 3-year-old called Anchors Ahead. Philip introduced the sport to his children through the Triple Crown races during that golden era of racing.
Charlie started in the Thoroughbred industry working for Hall of Fall trainer Jack Van Berg at Churchill Downs. An interest in marketing and helping others lead Charlie to Horse Health Products Incorporated where he spent several years traveling the world and growing the Red Cell product which is the top-selling supplement in the world today. Charlie has lived a lifetime around some of the greatest horses and trainers in the world.
