I was very lucky to have found Truval. I live in Pennsylvania and I was debating driving to NYC for an appraisal to sell my ring. I called Truval and spoke to Sarah. She suggested their mail in option to me. I was skeptical so she suggested I do my own research of their company and then decide. Sarah followed up with me a few days later and because they had A+ rating on The Better Business Bureau I decided they could be trusted. The next day Shlomi (one of their gemologists) called me and made me an offer. This was the highest offer I received and I chose to accept and got paid. I definitely recommend TruVal when selling your jewelry! They are an awesome team and honest people.
What an amazing experience! Not not did I get the best prices for my pieces, but the team was a joy to work with. Sarah was helpful and friendly. Schlomi walked me through his process and was kind and fair. He even helped me find another buyer for a bracelet/earring set, so I could get the best deal. 10/10 recommend and will be back!
I had researched jewelry buyers on line and read really good reviews about Truval, which led me to make an appointment to have my jewelry evaluated by them. As a first time jewelry seller, I really didn't know what to expect. Steve Mader made me feel very comfortable. He thoroughly and patiently explained how he came up with the $ amounts he offered me for my jewelry, which I felt were fair. There's no shortage of jewelry buyers on West 47th Street but I would definitely go back to Truval.
My experience with Truval was easy, efficient, and quick. Sarah had phenomenal customer service helping me schedule an appointment and was very accommodating when I needed to reschedule. I dealt with Shlomi to sell my ring. He was not only personable and willing to work with me, but made the sell easy and fun. I was in and out in 15 minutes and got a great price. Highly recommend! Truval paid 40% more than the local pawn shops and jewelry stores in my area, Sarah communicated all details accurately. They deposited the money into my account in less than 24 hours of receiving my package. I would definitely consider using them again.
Shlomo was very accommodating and transparent. The offered us a great quote for the gold and diamonds. The service was attentive. He sized a ring for me without charging me and offered to design my engagement ring.
I can not say enough positive things about my experience with Steve Madar at Truval. I did my research and chose Truval based on other reviews and maybe a little intuition. I was not disappointed in the least. The atmosphere in the office is very calm and organized. I was greeted by a pleasant receptionist and only waited a few moments before I sat down with Steve. What a knowledgeable and likeable person! I felt during the entire appointment that he was genuinely interested in anything I had to say or question and felt that he was extremely fair in his assessment of the items that I brought in. All in all I would definitely recommend working with Steve at Truval.
I found Truval online when I wanted to sell a couple pieces of jewelry I've had since I was a little girl. Steve was so easy to work with! He has such a comfortable way about him, and he comes across as being super knowledgeable and very trustworthy. For instance, he advised me to hold onto my pearl jewelry because he wouldn't be able to give me a price he thought was fair. I respect that! And I do think I got a fair price for the other gold pieces I brought in. I'd recommend these guys in a heartbeat!
Everything is very professional from beginning to end. It's completely safe and clean. Steve is kind, patient and offers fair prices for jewelry and watches and is happy to explain his reasoning. I have no complaints and highly recommend this establishment. UPDATE: Shlomi is also excellent for diamonds in particular. He really knows his stuff and has a great sense of humor to go with his excellence. If he's busy, wait for him. It will be well worth your while.
Well first and foremost, Im one of those people who will always look at reviews but rarely ever writes them. But I felt compelled to write my first google review for Truval. I had a diamond engagement ring from a failed relationship that I have been trying to get rid of for a while now. I reached out to Truval along with some other diamond buyers and Truval came in hands down with the best offer and the best customer service. I got my quote for what they would pay me for my diamond ring within hours of submitting the information. Steve sent me an e-mail with the quote, I agreed and he sent over the shipping label right after. They provided free Fed-EX over night insured shipping. I sent it on a Wednesday and the very next day Shlomi ( the appraiser) was on the phone giving me his buy price for my ring. it was a fair offer, no low balling and we agreed. Within 3 hours of me agreeing to sell him the diamond, I received my payment directly to my chase bank account with Zelle. I honestly can't say enough good things about how smooth this transaction was. They got a good diamond, and I got a good chunk of dough for a ring thats been burning a hole in my nightstand. If you are hesitant about working with a online jewelry buyer, don't be with Truval. Absolutely amazing experience!
From start to finish what a great experience. I was so hesitant to send my diamond due to being in a different state. Sarah Walked me through the process and assured me everything would work out and she was right! I ended up not taking the offer and selling my diamond on consignment. They actually made a new setting for my diamond which was beautiful and within a month of it being on consignment it sold. Zack and Sarah are truly amazing to work with. I can't thank them enough and would recommend Truval to anyone in the process of buying or selling their diamonds! .
We had a wonderful experience with Steve. He was honest and we had no doubts selling our precious jewelry and receiving a great price. He also had one of his diamond experts on hand and he took another piece to a rare coin expert, so I would have no doubts on the value. I had researched for days and since this was my first time selling our jewelry, I wanted to make sure it was the best place. In fact, I will be going back in a couple weeks ! I was initially skeptical because of the perfect reviews. After going, I can honestly say the reviews are completely accurate. These are by far some of the nicest, most honest people I've ever met - it felt more like meeting with family than selling a diamond. The price I was given was beyond fair and I left feeling relieved instead of worrying about whether I allowed myself to be taken advantage of. Shlomi was amazing to work with, explained everything both good and bad about my diamond, taught me a few things and never pressured me into anything. After examining the diamond I brought in and discussing it's value, he asked me if I would like to sell if and when I answered yes he asked me if I would let him buy it. Of course I said yes again, his price was more than I expected and I didn't ever feel like I had to haggle up from an initial lowball offer. Hate the feeling of buying and selling cars? You won't get that here at all. I truly can't recommend Shlomi enough, I would choose 10 or 100 stars if I could. If you're looking for a place to take a diamond, your search is over, you've found the best one here. I'll absolutely be back anytime I need jewelry help.
As a native South Carolinian, I am delighted to share my wonderful experience with Truval. They have gained a lifetime friend and customer. I called Zak after a competitor out of Florida, truly disappointed me in my appraisal and offer. I had never met Zak. When Zak and Steve received my merchandise, they kept their promise. Fortunately, I walked away with over a thousand dollars more in my pocket. In the future, I will always send my gold and jewelry to the best of the best in New York, Truval.
