Uaminifu Housing Cooperative Society Ltd was formed in 2013 under the cooperative Act. It was formed as a vehicle that will enable Uaminifu SACCO members acquire property through pulling of resources and thus bringing on board the procedural and financial gains that accrue as a result of economies of scale... Embracing the spirit of togetherness, way back 2001 a team of staff from Kenya Women Finance Trust (currently Kenya Women Microfinance Bank) conceived the idea and formed a SACCO that would enable them advance their personal development agenda as a team. The SACCO continues to draw its membership countrywide from Kenya Women Holding and Kenya Women Microfinance Bank and its subsidiaries.
