Andrea joins Zeidler with over 21 years of experience leading the design and execution of diverse projects for both public and private clients. His global experience stems from his educational foundation in Italy and having worked for some of the most internationally renowned firms, including Kohn Pedersen Fox and Massimiliano Fuksas. His global perspective is grounded locally in his over thirteen years designing for Canadian firms WZMH and Diamond Schmitt Architects.
Andrea's approach to design is contextual and integrated. He adapts his thinking to a range of scales from master plans to small, crafted pavilions. Skilled at digital and parametric tools, he uses technology to expand the potential for each design while often using his hand sketches to quickly show new ideas. His roles as Lead Designer guide the direction on each project as the vision holder, while ensuring consistency throughout the process from concept to construction. Andrea's work has international awards and he has received acclaim from both critics and clients. Andrea is a licensed architect with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architectural Registration Board in the UK (ARB), as well as a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as an International Associate.

Bob's ability to bring spaces back into use and optimize spaces is evident in his work in theatres in New York and Chicago, and various academic and commercial projects across Canada. As a LEED® Accredited Professional, Bob blends sustainability into his new build, restoration and renovation work seamlessly and works to implement green strategies across his projects.

Brian listens intently to our clients' needs in order to achieve results everyone can be proud of. His ability to overcome challenges has been exemplified in leading a number of Zeidler's complex projects, including the 2 Queen West heritage restoration and addition, and the new CF Toronto Eaton Centre Bridge.
David's collaborative nature serves as a basis for him to use his experience to mentor junior staff members. Edward brings 20 years of experience as a strategic thinker and leader in project delivery. As an accomplished architect and healthcare consultant, Edward is at the forefront of collaborative and healthcare design and has shown his abilities in each aspect of a project, from high-level to detailed involvement. Using his LEAN Yellow Belt training, Edward guides teams to understand issues, solve problems, and optimize work processes.
Edward's ability to form strategic partnerships and his perseverance for success, resourcefulness, and improvisational skills have given him the recognition amongst his peers to "make it happen". He has the proven ability to plan and execute complex initiatives, with the experience of over ten P3 (Private Public Partnership) projects. Jay is an Associate, Senior Architectural Technologist and Project Manager with over 23 years of experience under his belt. A true mentor, Jay takes pride in being able to impart knowledge and provide leadership to project teams, and his diverse project portfolio makes him a great resource for those itching to learn.
As a Project Manager, Jay has a keen attention to detail and proven ability to provide alternate solutions to challenges, which has made him a valuable member of the Zeidler team. Driven by a holistic approach, Jay loves being able to see a project through from "napkin sketch to finished product" and works closely with owners, contractors, and consultants to ensure every project reaches its full potential.

Jean Guy is an exceptional project manager, and he spearheads some of the firm's largest, most complex projects while directing and overseeing the production teams. With a background as a structural technologist, Justin was driven toward Building Information Modeling (BIM) after seeing the benefits of 3D modeling and collaboration. Despite it not being his career focus at the time, he still quickly became the office go-to person for BIM guidance and support. His love of problem solving, knack for technology, and proficiency with coordination and management made him a natural fit for BIM management.
As his career focus shifted, Justin took his skills to the world of architecture where his knowledge of technology and BIM allows him to simply workflows and streamline repetitive tasks. Justin believes that BIM has been driven by the desires of architecture and interior design professionals to push technology and get the most out of what we're producing every day. Lena's clear, honest communication style produces excellent outcomes which have often resulted in follow-up work requested by her clients, a testament to their satisfaction with her performance. Margo joined Zeidler in 2020 as Interior Design Studio Lead in our Vancouver studio. Having worked in Interior Design in Vancouver and Western Canada for over 25 years, she not only brings a diverse portfolio along with her, but an inspired and creative approach to design.
Early on, Margo knew that architecture and design was the career path for her. Working as a set designer for the drama department at her high school, she was intrigued by how influential the setting is for live theatre, dance, and opera-almost as if becoming another character. Translating this philosophy to her career as an interior designer provides her work with nuanced detail. The excitement and challenge of constant evolution in trends, materials, technologies, and strategies fulfills her desire for continued learning.
Margo sees herself as a technical designer at heart, loving the research, the planning, and working out the details of a project. Ultimately, she believes that a project's inspiration comes down to understanding the client's needs, wants and goals, and developing a synergy with them to create the best strategies and decisions. Margo says, "our work is handmade just for our clients, and a lot of work goes into getting that perfect fit!"

With over 41 years of experience, Maris brings a wealth of knowledge in the retail and commercial sectors. Maris has led teams in multi-million-dollar, complex projects for private clients across Canada and internationally. His reputation in the industry of delivering quality work on time and on budget lends itself to his personable and ambitious leadership style. Maris' abilities as a leader have been demonstrated on numerous projects, including one of his earlier projects the Fairview Pointe Claire Shopping Centre in Montréal, North America's first vertical expansion of an operating shopping mall, and the recently completed Nordstrom flagship store at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre.

With Zeidler for over 45 years, Rob is a seasoned architectural designer and leader of many of our firm's most complex projects. From large-scale planning studies to intricate architectural details, he resolves each problem regardless of scale with a practical, methodical approach. Using precedents, programme, and client vision, Rob distils complex requirements into simple and efficient design solutions. From this solid foundation, Rob is able to push innovation, earning him a reputation as a technical design leader. For instance, Rob designed a unique sliding air-curtain solution to achieve maintenance access and thermal efficiency on UP Express, and incorporated new standards in seismic design for high-rise towers in Torre Mayor in Mexico City.
Rob is a technical and creative design mentor, sharing his impressive experience having delivered many of the firm's landmark and international projects.
