HENRY F. ARNOLD

Henry Arnold graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Fine Arts with a bachelor of landscape architecture degree and studied forestry at Penn State. He has been practicing landscape architecture for nearly five decades-ten of those years were with the Vermont office of Dan Kiley as associate/partner landscape architect. He subsequently moved to Princeton, New Jersey, where he continues the practice of landscape architecture at Arnold Associates with his partner, Stephen Lederach. The firm's practice focuses on urban sites, with special expertise in developing and using new urban tree planting techniques.

STEPHEN LEDERACH

Stephen has managed and designed numerous national and international projects. Some of which include: Hoboken South Waterfront in New Jersey, Metrotech Center in Brooklyn, and the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. He is interested in the interface between people and environment, working to create richer urban living experiences. Working together with Henry Arnold since 1988, Stephen helped develop state-of-the-art renowned urban tree planting details and methods for sustainable tree growth. Stephen graduated from Delaware Valley College as a bachelor of Ornamental Horticulture and a Masters of Landscape Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. He is a frequent lecturer and regularly teaches landscape architecture and planting design at various institutions.
