Joe received his Doctor of Law degree from Rutgers University School of Law and has been a practicing member of the State Bar of California since 1988. With over 30 years' experience as a trial lawyer, this dedicated Irvine employment law attorney specializes in both class action and single-plaintiff employment litigation and consumer protection litigation matters. As a litigator, he has handled myriad large-loss commercial, industrial, business, employment, and consumer incidents and claims, premises, and product liability litigation, including national and international Consumer Product Safety Commission recalls, wrongful death, and catastrophic claims. His extensive experience includes performing consulting engagements and liability counsel in domestic and international venues throughout Asia, China and Japan, Europe, the United Kingdom, and both the North and South American Continents, providing cumis counsel and Crisis Response Team services regarding commercial and natural disasters for a host of Fortune 500 corporations including Bank of America, Ford Motor Company, Seagram & Sons, Vivendi Universal, and IBM.
Mr. Hunter is involved in all practice areas at Badame Law Group, where he is regularly engaged in litigating employment claims ranging from wrongful termination to harassment, hostile work environment, wage, hour, and benefits claims, and all forms of discrimination-based claims on behalf of both employees and corporate employer clients. His transactional experience encompasses business services including negotiation and drafting of corporate and commercial transactional agreements, advice & counsel, development of business deal structures and supporting documentation; lease negotiation; development of executive employment packages and agreements; and management and negotiation of severance/hiring decisions. He has extensive experience in drafting and developing employee handbooks, policies, and related materials; managing reduction in force events; and litigation supervision. His batting average with the United States Patent Office regarding Trademark, Servicemark, and related claims and application prosecution for business clients is impeccable.

Mr. Badame is the Founder and Principal of Badame Law Group. He is well-known for his meticulous demeanor and focus, both in and outside the courtroom.
A former Partner at Jackson Lewis, P.C., Mr. Badame has over 20 years of litigation experience and focuses his career on Employment Litigation, Consumer Protection, Business Litigation, and General Business Counseling. His expansive legal resume includes the successful handling of hundreds of cases involving complex class-action litigation of consumer protection, employment wage and hour claims, discrimination issues, and wrongful termination, both at the State and Federal levels. This skilled Irvine employment lawyer is the Head of the Trial team at Badame Law Group and oversees all Practice Groups within the Firm.
Prior to being admitted to the California State Bar in 2000, Mr. Badame worked for the Orange County District Attorney's Office. Kristopher received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1996 from the State University of New York, College at Geneseo. In 2000, he received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Chapman University School of Law, where he served as Vice-President and member of the Chapman University School of Law National Trial Team, where he successfully competed in numerous National Trial competitions. While in law school, Kristopher received numerous Awards for Academic Excellence in Evidence, Trial Practice, and Trial Advocacy. In addition, Mr. Badame was the recipient of the Chapman University School of Law 2000 Dean's Award, which is presented annually to a graduating senior for their leadership and service to the law school, as voted on by the faculty and administration. Mr. Badame also was selected as the Class of 2000 American Board of Trial Advocates Fellowship representative from the Chapman University School of Law.
Mr. Badame is a member of the American Bar Association, California Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Kristopher is admitted to practice law in all California State Courts, the United States Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California.
When not in the office, Kristopher enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. In addition, Kristopher is a Level 4-Certified Hockey Coach by USA Hockey and is very active in coaching youth Ice Hockey in the Southern California area.
