Using our expertise and the unique dataset from the Danish population, we strive to describe and discover biological mechanisms leading to psychiatric disorders... Additionally, we are affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Copenhagen, and represent one of the six partners in the major iPSYCH Initiative (Lundbeck Foundation's Initiative for Integrative Psychiatric Research) - the world's largest psychiatric research project... Our research focuses on the biological expression of mental disorders, and the association between genetics and mental illness, and we house more than 30 people with a broad range of academic and professional backgrounds.
