Adam is an accomplished CTO and product manager with a wealth of experience across an array of fintech ventures including commercial credit, mortgage broking, and payment gateways. Adam's experience in building, educating and managing offshore teams in frontier and emerging markets for diverse international clients has provided unique insight into the cultural requirements of these teams. An experienced IT consultant, Adam believes that IT should not be a cost centre, but should be directly linked to increasing revenues. Adam has an MBA from Bond University, Australia.

ASTRID SCHOLZ

Astrid is a Senior Consultant at Uncompromise, and Managing Partner of Sphaera, a system design and technology firm dedicated to co-creating global, distributed, democratic infrastructure for mobilizing data, innovations, and capital to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and Uncompromise's sister organisation. Astrid was previously President of Ecotrust, a conservation-based development organization with $150M in AUM, where Sphaera was incubated. Astrid is a founding director of the XXcelerate Fund, a revolving loan fund and mentorship program created for and by women entrepreneurs that is piloting in her home state of Oregon, USA. She is also a founding director of Zebras Unite, a growing global community of founders, investors, and allies who are creating a more ethical, inclusive, collaborative, and sustainable approach to building businesses. Astrid holds degrees from the University of St. Andrews, the University of Bristol, and the University of California, Berkeley.

Dara Dotz

Known as "the MacGyver of tough problems in warzones", Dara is the co-founder of Field Ready, an NGO focused on manufacturing humanitarian supplies, and has implemented digital fabrication solutions to humanitarian problems in challenging environments across the globe. Dara worked as Human Factors Lead for Made In Space, Inc., a company that built and operated the first gravity-independent 3D printer on the International Space Station. Her speaking accomplishments include keynotes at TED, the Wall Street Journal, the UN, Exponential Medicine, European Space Policy Institute, and The World Bank Understanding Risk Forum. Featured in Wired, Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Deloitte, and CNBC, and referenced in books by the likes of Adam Savage, Dara has received numerous accolades, including recognition by the Obama Administration as a "Champion of Change." She was acknowledged as the primary female entrepreneur for her impact at the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit. Dara holds a BS in Industrial Design and a minor in International Business from MSCD.

Linzi Fidelin

She lives in the Netherlands, and is also the co-founder of an inclusive children's subscription box called Books By Ani.

Madelynn is an international strategist and facilitator with a decade of experience working with innovators, entrepreneurs and executives to build, activate, and scale open innovation ecosystems for a more equitable and sustainable future. She has worked with dozens of organizations to bring about new models of fostering entrepreneurship, product development, and technical education, across nonprofits, startups, corporate innovation labs, and government initiatives. An early leader and advocate for the Maker Movement, Madelynn was a founding member of Freeside Atlanta, and has been director, board member, and advisor to a plethora of global maker facilities, programs, and companies. She continues to actively support the current and future role of maker culture in economic development, education, and humanitarian response.

Nathan Parker

Nathan's expertise has been shaped through a variety of careers: a primary healthcare provider, a disaster resilience trainer, a software & hardware product manager, an event operations lead, a project manager for large scale installations and interventions, and as a founder focused on bringing together the global Maker Movement into a coherent, self-sustaining ecosystem. As the founder of MakerNet, his focus has been on developing resiliency through decentralized networks on makers and innovators, where makerspaces serve as nodes in a globally distributed infrastructure.

Scott Morris
