DREAM SEASON

The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat football team has been a force to be reckoned with the past 15 years. Located in Maryville, MO, this Division II powerhouse of talent and dedication has won over 75% of their games over the past 16 years and just recently ended a 49-win streak in MIAA conference play... It was under the direction of Northwest legend, Coach Mel Tjeerdsma that the Bearcats prevailed in three of their seven National Championship appearances. Their most recent National Championship win in 2009 followed an unprecedented run of five national championship game appearances. The Northwest football team has seen 13 of the last 15 playoff seasons and boasts a myriad of on and off-the-field accolades.
