"My career in the filter business started in 1992. I started as the purchasing manager for a major string wound filter manufacturer. During that time, I was able to establish great relationships with the providers of raw materials used in our process. After a year as purchasing manager I was moved to product manager. As product manager I worked closely with the manufacturing manager learning all I could about the different medias and their characteristics. Three years later I was moved into sales to take on a new product line we were venturing into. I eventually became a sales manager. As a sales manager I traveled the U. S., Mexico supporting our distributors. During this time, I was taken into plants, refineries, and onto platforms to try and solve filtration problems.
After twenty-two years and three different manufacturers I decided to start Fluid Filtration Products. I decided to take all the experience I had acquired, the things that I learned the companies did the best and their weaknesses a build a company that exploited that."
