As a Senior Civil Engineer who joined Wightman in 2015, Andrew provides project management, design, and construction coordination for a range of municipal utility, transportation, and development projects. Typical projects include storm sewer and sanitary sewer collection and transmission systems, lift station design, road rehabilitation, and potable water distribution systems. He also performs utility system studies and assessments including comprehensive system studies and focused asset management plans. Andrew thrives in a team-oriented environment and excels at working on complex projects including those with challenging funding mechanisms.

Anthony went from supporting students in the classroom during his seven years as an industrial technologies teacher to using his drafting knowledge and skill to help support survey department operations as a production technician at Wightman. He joined the company in 2017. In his role, he gathers information and prepares preliminary coordinates to be used by the survey field crews. After they've completed their work, Anthony then uses the data they've collected to produce a variety of drawings that serve clients' needs.

April is highly skilled at helping communities through Geographic Information Systems (GIS)-based solutions, a process by which she gathers, creates, displays, and provides access to data that powers decision making. She became part of the Wightman team in 2015 as a GIS analyst, a role to which she brings more than 5 years of experience. Proficient in several ArcGIS suite applications as well as ArcGIS Online, she believes a web-based approach is key to successful public engagement. April is passionate about helping communities grow and thrive. She is Redevelopment Ready Communities certified and is a member of the DDA Economic Vitality committee in Three Rivers.
As a survey crew chief, Bennie is the eyes and ears for Wightman's team of professional surveyors. Bennie first joined Wightman in 2017 and uses his skills and knowledge to lead crews to complete survey field work. He meets with clients face-to-face on job sites to understand their challenges and help deliver results that solve those problems. His expertise is in boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction project staking.

He has over 10 years of experience in the architecture field and is licensed in three states and the District of Columbia. Brian is an AutoCAD technician by trade, however, his keen attention to detail and thoroughness finds him on the road at times, collecting research for the company's larger out-of-town projects. As a production technician in Wightman's survey department who has worked in the engineering, surveying, and architectural fields since 1998, he also handles design work and dig tickets for the Miss Dig system in both Indiana and Michigan.

Brian joined Wightman in early 2022 having served as an inspector, design engineer, project manager, and client representative during his 30+ year career in civil engineering. These varied roles allowed him to understand both the project goals and client needs from concept through construction. He is responsible for analyzing, designing, and overseeing construction management of municipal projects. Brian also enjoys mentoring younger staff as they begin their civil engineering careers.
Casey joined Wightman in 2016 after several years working as an Interior Designer in the office, commercial, and hospitality fields. Casey loves taking the deep dive into a project. For her, this means getting into details of space planning - from interior walls to furniture layouts. It also encompasses working with clients to select furnishings and finishes that not only enhance functionality but that convey brand and personality. After more than a decade in the field, she still most enjoys seeing the joy on a client's face when they experience the finished product.
One of Christine's proudest professional moments is having been part of a team thanked by renowned architect Michael Graves following his acceptance of the "1999 National Medal of Arts" award presented by then President Bill Clinton. With 28 years of experience, Christine joined the Wightman team based in its Royal Oak office in 2019. She provides architectural and interior design services to clients to help them fulfill their vision for their environments, enhance their surroundings, and realize optimal outcomes.

As a Construction Administrator, Courtney has one goal: the continual pursuit of excellence. What does that mean for her clients? It means she uses her 20+ years of experience in construction management and architecture to transition design projects from dream to done. She performs constructability document reviews before contractors even see them, lessening change orders and field issues, and serves as a liaison between the construction manager, contractors, and design team during bidding and construction. Her attention to detail and ability to strategize solutions and implement decisions means what was once on paper becomes reality.

The clients Dan works with range from commercial developers and private homeowners to businesses and units of government on projects that include site plans, roadway design, water mains, and sanitary and storm sewers. As a Project Manager with more than 15 years of experience who has been with Wightman since 2009, Dan is able to manage a diverse array of projects while delivering outstanding results for his clients. Dan excels at coordinating all aspects of a given project including feasibility studies, funding applications, design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.

Derek incorporates much thought and real-world expertise into his practical design solutions for clients. As Wightman's Architecture Department and Senior Project Manager, Mr. Kollias brings over 30 years' experience with communities in southeast Michigan, Florida and Texas through architectural design and planning of municipal, commercial, industrial, and healthcare clients. He uses his expertise to ensure that all projects in the office are adequately staffed to meet all deadlines. He also helps to direct design development and contract document administration.

A 30+ year engineering veteran, Frank joined Wightman in 2016 as a Project Manager. It's a role in which he assists his clients in selecting the most beneficial solutions to meet their municipal engineering, stormwater management, and road design needs. His background includes using various funding sources to implement infrastructure improvements including CDBG/RECD, MDEQ-DWRF, MDOT-Local Services, MDNR, Rural Development, local funds, and special assessments. He has designed soil and groundwater remediation systems, street projects including the roundabout at Gull and Ransom near the Kalamazoo office, numerous plats, condominium developments, site plans, and municipal utility systems for water supply, storm water treatment and retention, and wastewater collection and treatment. He is one of the primary engineers for the SAW program and a point of contact for solving civil engineering challenges.

I love Wightman! My work family means as much to me as my blood family. Outsiders are always surprised when they find out how many times my Wightman family gets together after hours. I love getting to know my coworkers' significant others and their children. We care about what the people we care about care about. Another thing I'm proud of is that I've helped over 30 of my coworkers get their CPL (concealed pistol license).
As a Process Engineer and Project Manager at Wightman, Jeff primarily provides communities with water and wastewater treatment solutions. Since joining the company in 2017, he has been deeply involved with the Michigan Stormwater, Asset Management, and Wastewater (SAW) grants, assessing storm water and wastewater systems and developing capital improvement plans for clients throughout the region. He also puts his nearly 20 years of industry experience to work designing and performing construction engineering duties on water distribution and wastewater collection and treatment systems.

Jessamyn enjoys each aspect of interior design, from wall configuration and space planning to determining furniture placement that creates appealing work flow and ensures ADA accessibility. She is passionate about designing functional, focused spaces that allow people to work efficiently, comfortably, and creatively.
Ken has called Wightman his "work family" for more than 32 years. As the office technician for the engineering team in the Benton Harbor office, Ken manages local agency projects, oversees the inspection and testing team, and is the Wightman Safety Officer. Through his years of service with the company, Ken has developed expertise in the areas of materials acceptance, MDOT prevailing wages, and local agency project management. His commitment to clients and his co-workers has not gone unnoticed as he is one of the past recipients of the Wightman Superstar Award.

Lee's primary responsibility as a senior project manager at Wightman's Benton Harbor office is helping to manage survey projects related to the company's electric generation utility clients. This includes boundary surveys, right-of-way projects, exhibit preparation, construction staking, as-built drawings, and project coordination for field crews. This 28-year survey veteran see the success of providing dependable and professional service to clients as stemming from a truly collaborative effort between everyone in the organization who works on these projects.

Based in the Kalamazoo office as a Civil Engineer, Maria Carpita first joined Wightman in 2020 as an Engineering Intern. She turned that experience into a full-time position making a difference for clients everyday through her skills and positive outlook. Maria earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree with a minor in Psychology from Michigan Technological University and has passed the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying Fundamentals of Civil Engineering Exam. She sees her role with Wightman as an opportunity to build strong client relationships by helping solve problems while having a positive impact on the community in which she lives and works. For her, one of the rewards of her job is seeing that impact first hand.
