Agne Abramauskaite

Agne is the Events Manager for IBBC. Agne joined the Iraq Britain Business Council in March 2017 as Events Coordinator / Senior Administrator, where she helps to organize its many meetings and events from the organisation's London office. Agne has solid expertise with over 6 year's first-hand experience in customer service, coordination and planning of large and small events, administration and business management. Previously, Agne worked in job roles such as Operations Manager, Area Manager and Personal Assistant to Managing Director. Agne has a solid educational foundation and a passion for business administration, development and innovation. She holds BSc in Business Administration at ISM, MSc in International Business at London Southbank University and MSc in Eevents and Experience Management at Goldsmiths University. In addition to her duties, Agne was a Student Steering Committee Member at Institute of Directors (IoD) and responsible for student membership development and future growth opportunities.

Ashley Goodall

Ashley Goodall is an experienced Marketing consultant to charitable, business, cultural and financial brands and has worked with IBBC since January 2017. As MD of Saatchi & Saatchi Design, Ashley ran large branding projects for clients such as Barclays Capital, Raifeissen bank, The Post office, A1 telecom Austria, Head and Shoulders and T Mobile. He is a Marketing professional with particular expertise in brand positioning, brand identity, digital communications, PR, business development and digital entrepreneurs. As head of Business development and Marketing at Fitch (WPP) he also developed an international range of clients in retail, branding and communications. Originally a Marketing graduate at EMI records, Ashley signed diverse acts as Iron Maiden, Talk Talk and Curiosity Killed the Cat ( do you have their albums?) , before moving onto creative marketing recruitment and a directorship at Pricejamieson in the 90's. Finally settling in directorships in branding and communication at Marketplace/Lloyd Northover, Fitch and Saatchi & Saatchi Design since 1999.

Christophe Michels - Managing Director

Christophe helped establish the IBBC in 2009. He joined its board of directors in 2017. Christophe has broad experience in working with British, Iraqi and US Government entities, international organisations and agencies such as the UN, WB and IMF, Think Tanks such as Chatham House, IISS and RUSI and trade groups such as the British, the American and the German Chambers of Commerce. Prior to IBBC, Christophe worked in Baroness Nicholson's political office in the European Parliament (EP). He helped setup the first permanent delegation for relations with Iraq, and was involved in Baroness Nicholson's other activities as a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, focussing particularly on Kashmir, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Iran, Turkey and the Mashreq countries. In 2008 Christophe worked for the EP as a consultant in the Iraqi Council of Representatives in Baghdad. He joined Baroness Nicholson in the House of Lords since 2009, assisting her with regards to her work with the Council of Europe, as Chairman of the APPG on Foreign Affairs and the APPG for Iraq. He supports the AMAR Foundation in Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen, the work of the Associatia Children's High Level Group in Romania and Moldova. He also volunteered for the Russian Booker Prize until it was shut down in 2019. In 2012 he observed the early presidential elections in Yemen. In 2023 Christophe Co-Founded the Ukraine Britain Business Council. Christophe is a Senior Fellow of Humanity in Action. He graduated from the Lycée Franco-Allemand (Paris), and studied History and Art History in Berlin, Amsterdam and Duesseldorf. During his studies he worked closely with the late Dr Dieter Rogalla MEP to promote the EU and its values throughout the continent.

Colin A. Findlay M.

After 15 years in the Oil & Gas industry working offshore in project operations, Colin completed a Master's Degree in Project Management before moving into Management & leadership roles. Over the past 25 years this background has enabled Colin to become a successful business leader as CEO for a major valve manufacturer and also become Chairman of the British Valve & Actuator Association for the past 5 years. This included 7 years as an active member of IBBC. Now working as a specialist in strategic development Colin joins the IBBC to offer experience and expertise to the IBBC as it builds a pathway to success for Iraq and its business community.

Emma Joyce

Emma is the Senior Events Coordinator and office Administrator Emma has a Diploma in Hospitality, Business and Administration. Emma has a wide range of work experience relating to customer service and management over the past 15 years.

John McGregor Scott

John is an Oil & Gas Adviser for IBBC. John has over 40 year's International experience in upstream project management and construction throughout Africa, Latin America, UK, USA and Middle East. As an engineer, John initially worked for Taylor Woodrow in the Arctic and in the North Sea for Global Engineering before joining Texaco to run R&D in UK. He subsequently transferred to Aberdeen to manage offshore production and then the US to head up development of major Greenfield projects in Latin American and West Africa, including re-instating a Brazilian rainforest as part of a carbon capture initiative. He returned to UK to join Foster Wheeler to manage upstream business in Europe, Middle East and Africa, and most recently moved Petrofac as Director of Project Development. As a representative for Foster Wheeler, John has been involved with IBBC since its foundation and has twice chaired the Oil & Gas Sector Table, so brings exceptional knowledge to both IBBC and the membership.

Mr Mohanad Alkhattab

Started working for the Iraqi Parliament in 2007 as a translator in the translation department then in 2010 moved on to be an important part of the International Relations Department in the Public Relations Directorate in Parliament. Mr Alkhattab took part in many international forums and conferences as part of the Iraqi parliament‘s delegation. IBBC' Baghdad representative since the establishment of IBBC in 2009. Presently he is IBBC's Baghdad office Manager.

Nabeel Mohsin

Nabeel Mohsin joined IBBC in September 2021 as Senior Administrator and Events Coordinator based at the IBBC Baghdad Office located on Arasat Al-Hindiya Street, his main duty is to maintain and maximize engagement with the Iraqi SMEs. With over 25 years of experience in the Iraqi retail sector, Nabeel has played a leading role in developing major Iraqi retail companies by occupying senior positions as Development Manager, Head of Operations, Brand Manager, Iraq Duty Free Manager. Aiding Nabeel to success in the roles he managed throughout his career is his strong higher educational base, he graduated from University of Baghdad, College of Science in 1994 with a certified bachelor degree in Mathematics.
