Dr. Pinsky is a board certified plastic surgeon and joined LIPSG in 2012. He specializes in complex hand and wrist injuries, nerve repair, rheumatoid arthritis, as well as the treatment of Dupuytren's disease. He also performs the latest techniques in cosmetic enhancement, including breast augmentation, breast reduction, abdominoplasty, and rhinoplasty.
Dr. Pinsky is a board-certified plastic surgeon and has been a part of New York Plastic Surgical Group, a Division of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group since 2012. He is also the Chief of Hand Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC).

Dr. Pinsky received his undergraduate degree in 1999 from the University of Pennsylvania and completed the pre-medical program at Boston University in 2000. During this time, he also participated in Boston Medical Center's Child Life Program, where he helped children and families cope with the stress caused by hospitalization and illness. He obtained his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Ohio in 2005 and went on to complete a residency program in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York in 2011. Dr. Pinsky then received specialty training in Hand and Microsurgery during a fellowship at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Barry K. Douglas is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction. In addition to being a partner at New York Plastic Surgical Group, a Division of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, he is also Facility Medical Director of all NYPS Group Operating Suites.
Prior to joining NYPS Group in 1991, Dr. Douglas was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Trinity College, where he majored in both Studio Art and Physics. In 1980, he went on to earn his MD degree from Wake Forest University. He completed his General and Plastic Surgical Residencies at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Douglas then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Plastic & Maxillofacial Surgery at Children's Hospital of Akron with the Northeastern Ohio School of Medicine.

Dr. David Mattos is a Harvard-trained, board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Haritha B. Veeramachaneni (Dr. Veera) is a Los Angeles trained, board-certified plastic surgeon. She performs a wide range of cosmetic plastic surgical procedures including breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, and abdominoplasty. Dr. Michael R. Christy is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in hand surgery, facial plastic surgery, craniomaxillofacial trauma, and reconstruction. He has been a part of New York Plastic Surgical Group, a Division of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group since 2016.
Prior to joining NYPS Group, Dr. Christy was on the faculty of the Johns Hopkins/University of Maryland Combined Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Residency and the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center (STC) in Baltimore. During that time he won numerous honors and awards for his work in plastic & reconstructive surgery. He received the Shock Trauma Hero Award in 2006 for microsurgical reconstruction and again in 2012 for being part of the surgical team that performed one of the world's most comprehensive facial transplantations to date. In addition, Dr. Christy was also honored by both the House and State Senate of Maryland. From 2013-2016, Dr. Christy served as an Associate Professor and Chief of the Trauma Plastic Surgery service at STC. In 2016 he was awarded the Johns Hopkins/University of Maryland Teaching Award in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery for his dedication to resident education. Finally, Dr. Christy was also awarded Top Doctor by Castle-Connolly in both the Washington-Baltimore and NY Metro areas.
Anke Ott Young, MD, PhD is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 20 years of specialized experience in breast reconstruction procedures.
Born in Germany, Dr. Ott began her journey to medicine at the University of the Saarland in Homburg where she graduated in 1990. From there she earned a doctorate degree with Magna Cum Laude accolades in Forensic Psychiatry before eventually continuing her education in New York. Dr. Ott received her General Surgery training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, completed her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at Nassau County Medical Center, and underwent a Microsurgery and Cancer Reconstruction Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Ott Young is a member of many professional organizations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She is fluent in English, German, and Spanish.
In her free time, Dr. Ott also runs Avalon Farm, a horse breeding and training stable in North Salem, NY. Throughout the year she uses the farm to host educational events and breast cancer fundraisers, all allowing patients to enjoy a peaceful experience in nature.
Dr. Ott is the kindest and most compassionate doctor. She makes you feel at ease. After a cancer diagnosis, and finding out I needed a mastectomy, I was very scared. She spoke in such calm reassuring manner, I knew I was in good hands. She is so easy to talk to and helps put your fears aside. She is a very skilled, superb surgeon. Since 2010, Dr. Rachel Ruotolo has been a partner at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group. She specializes in pediatric craniofacial surgery and treats patients with conditions such as cleft lip and palate, protruding ears, syndactyly, and craniosynostosis. Dr. Ruotolo is also actively involved in volunteer medical missions, which includes traveling abroad to treat adults and children in developing countries. Since 2013, Dr. Ruotolo has been a VP on LIPSG's Executive Committee.
Dr. Rachel A. Ruotolo is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in pediatric plastic and craniofacial surgery. She has held the title of Vice President at New York Plastic Surgical Group, a Division of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group since 2013 and has been a partner at the practice since 2010. In addition, she is currently the co-director of Cohen Children's Hagedorn Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Center.
Dr. Ruotolo received her undergraduate degree from Duke University and MD from George Washington School of Medicine & Health Sciences, where she graduated with distinction. She then went on to complete her plastic surgery training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and pursued specialty training in Pediatric Congenital and Craniofacial Surgery during a fellowship at Medical City Children's Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
As a pediatric plastic and craniofacial expert, Dr. Ruotolo treats patients with a variety of conditions including cleft lip and palate, protruding ears, syndactyly (fused digits), congenital melanocytic and vascular lesions, and craniosynostosis (premature closure of skull sutures resulting in abnormal skull and facial shape). In addition, she also specializes in facial trauma in both children and adults, including orbital, zygomatic, and mandible fractures, as well as cranioplasty (skull reconstruction) after craniotomy.

Dr. Roger L. Simpson has been a partner at New York Plastic Surgical Group, a Division of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group since 1981 and served as President of the practice from 2013-2018. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Brussels, School of Medicine in 1974. In addition, Dr. Simpson completed both his General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residencies at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY.
Dr. Simpson received certification from the American Board of Surgery in 1980 and the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1981. Subsequently, he completed a prestigious fellowship in Hand Surgery at the Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City in 1981, attaining the Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.
From 1989-2022, Dr. Simpson served as the Director of the Residency Training Program in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center. He previously held several additional positions at Nassau University Medical Center, including Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Director of the Burn Center, and Chief of the Hand Surgery Service. Dr. Thomas Davenport is a board-certified plastic surgeon and has been a partner at New York Plastic Surgical Group, a Division of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group since 2006.
Dr. Davenport received his Bachelor of Science degree from Iona College and his MD degree from Yale University. After completing both his residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Plastic Surgery in the Harvard University Program at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Davenport went on to pursue specialty training in Cancer Reconstruction and Cosmetic Surgery as a fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. During that time, Dr. Davenport was awarded the prestigious Webster Fellowship in Pediatric Plastic Surgery. He completed his training during an additional fellowship in burn and accident reconstruction with Harvard University at the Shriner Burn Hospital for Children.

Dr. Samson first developed his interest in cancer as an undergraduate at Tufts University. Dr. Jason Clain is a Harvard-trained plastic surgeon specializing in both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. He has a particular interest in facial skin cancer reconstruction and surgical and non-surgical facial aesthetics (facelift, rhinoplasty, eyelid/blepharoplasty surgery).
Beginning his academic career at Tufts University, Dr. Clain graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Economics. He spent the next two years researching the outcomes for patients undergoing reconstruction after head and neck surgery. He attended Medical School at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he graduated with research honors and was awarded the Martin J. Loeb surgical award. From new associate to a senior partner, spent entirely with the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group (now New York Plastic Surgical Group), Dr. Leland Deane has developed wide expertise in almost every aspect of plastic surgery. Born in NYC and raised on Long Island, he chose to undergo full training in Boston as a general surgeon, and then was accepted by the nation's largest and most competitive plastic surgery program in Norfolk, Virginia. His mentors there included internationally famous innovators and leaders in reconstructive, pediatric, adult cosmetic, nerve surgery, genital reconstruction, and surgical education. Drs Horton, McGraw, Magee, Terzis, Adamson and Carraway were some of the surgical bright lights that he spent two and a half years with. A personal recommendation from Dr. Charles Horton to his friend, Dr. Richard Walden (a founder of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group), led to Dr. Deane eventually returning to Long Island. A full eight years of training, after medical school, was rounded out with a six month fellowship in hand surgery in Philadelphia with Dr. James Hunter at Jefferson, a pioneer in tendon reconstruction.
Over the first portion of his career with the Group, Dr. Deane's practice centered around reconstruction, servicing trauma patients in every hospital where the Group had privileges. He obtained medical boards in both general and plastic surgery, served on hospital committees, and participated in the expansion of the Group's training program for young plastic surgeons. He witnessed the early days of out-patient surgery, for both reconstruction and cosmetic procedures and the Group's development of one of the first free standing ambulatory surgery centers in NY State. These busy days were filled with everything from reattaching severed hands and digits, to pediatric cleft reconstruction, to general cosmetic surgery. With a fellow ‘Norfolkian' plastic surgery friend, Dr. Deane went to South America to treat congenital cleft defects in children, and still has ties there to this day.
In several ways, Dr. Deane's career was influenced by the medical needs of the time. Long Island, and the New York metropolitan area, became a center for in-vitro fertilization treatment for mothers who couldn't conceive a child otherwise. This led, in part, to many multiple birth pregnancies, and subsequently many postpartum women, in good health, who wanted their bodies restored as much as possible. Working with their OB/GYN doctors, Dr. Deane developed a large practice with expertise in correcting the effects of childbirth on the body. He became known nationally for this, and over the last twenty years has used successful techniques in women with all body types, to ‘put them back'. Recently, exciting results in improvement of urinary symptoms and restoration of pelvic balance have been obtained. The same procedures have been very successful in weight loss patients (bariatric), who also have experienced a type of body aging.

Dr. Matthew Kilgo is a board-certified plastic surgeon and has been a partner at New York Plastic Surgical Group, a Division of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group since 2005. Dr. Kilgo graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in biology from Loyola University of Chicago in 1989 and later received his MD from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He went on to complete a general surgery internship and residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison. After residency, Dr. Kilgo received additional general surgical training with a focus on breast and vascular surgery at the Gloucestershire Hospitals in the United Kingdom, where he served as a visiting surgical fellow for one year. Next, he completed a plastic surgery residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine followed by an additional year of fellowship training in cancer reconstruction at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Dr. Noël Natoli is a board-certified plastic surgeon and partner at New York Plastic Surgical Group, a Division of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group. Dr. Reish received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University, where he graduated summa cum laude as Valedictorian. He was awarded a prestigious $300,000 scholarship to attend Harvard Medical School, where he obtained his M.D. degree with Honors. Dr. Reish completed his plastic surgery residency in the Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Residency Program. He served as the Chief Resident of Harvard Plastic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Reish performs a wide range of cosmetic plastic surgical procedures which includes rhinoplasty and complex revision rhinoplasty, for which patients travel from all over the United States and the world to see Dr. Reish. Dr. Reish has what is likely one of the largest and most extensive rhinoplasty before and after gallery in the United States. Dr. Reish also performs facial rejuvenation, facelift, neck lift, minimal-incision breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, abdominoplasty, liposuction, fat transfer, labiaplasty, as well as facial implants including chin implants. He is heavily involved in cutting-edge clinical research and has published numerous articles in the top nationally recognized plastic surgery research journals. Dr. Reish has been invited to present his research at numerous national and international plastic surgery conferences. While at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Reish pioneered investigations of many novel scar minimizing treatments. Dr. Reish is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of numerous surgical organizations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. In 2023, he was named to Newsweek's list of America's Best Plastic Surgeons recognized for rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, and eyelid surgery. In addition, he was also honored as "Best Rhinoplasty Surgeon" at the 2023 Long Island Beauty Awards.
In his spare time, Dr. Reish enjoys running, playing tennis, and traveling with his family. Dr. Reish resides on Manhattan's Upper East Side with his wife and two children.
